Responsibilities
Medical Receptionist - Mississauga, ON - Healthcare
Answering high-volume phone lines (300–400 calls/day)
Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments
Greeting and checking in patients
Verifying and updating patient demographics
Creating new patient charts and managing documentation
Assisting patients with requests and relaying messages from physicians
Contacting patients with test results or updates from the clinic
Handling billing for uninsured services and processing credit card payments
Health card validation and document scanning/uploading
Distributing mail and maintaining organized charts
Rotating between reception workstations as needed
Keeping the workspace clean and professional
Supporting other administrative tasks as delegated
Qualifications
Medical Receptionist - Mississauga, ON - Healthcare
3–5 years of medical receptionist experience in a clinical setting (required)
Experience using Telus PS Suite EMR (strong asset)
Proficiency with high-volume phone systems and multitasking
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and within a team
