Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services:
•Participate in root-cause analysis; develop and implement solutions to more complex/uncommon business problems; and establish mechanisms to monitor, track and report on service levels using metrics and restore services as soon as possible
•Contribute to all middleware initiatives required for platform maintenance and evolution
•Participate in the operational support, patching, upgrading, installation and configuration of middleware technologies
•Follow a general work plan, communicate progress, report deviations, identify issues and seek guidance as appropriate
•Provide operational support to clients for high availability Middle tier environments
•Other related activities and deliverables as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills:
•A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in patching, upgrading, installation, configuration and operational support with Oracle WebLogic Application Server (version 12.2 or higher in standard and clustered mode) and Oracle Fusion middleware, and Oracle Internet Directory
•A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in upgrading, installation, configuration and operational support with IBM MQ
•A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated Middleware experience
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
•Demonstrated experience with IBM DataPower, IBM DataStage, and/or JBOSS
•Demonstrated experience with IBM WebSphere Portal
•Demonstrated experience in Linux/Unix administration
•Demonstrated experience with middleware automation
