Location - Mississauga, ON
Shift - 3 Shift Rotation (8 hours) - 12 month contract
Pay - $46+/hr

Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors, bearings, seals, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Support maintenance of cleanroom and utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, chilled water, process piping)
Execute equipment installations, rebuilds, alignments, and changeovers with minimal production disruption
Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and SOPs
Perform welding, fabrication + machining responsibilities
Accurately document work orders, deviations, and maintenance activities in a CMMS
Ensure all work complies with GMP, Health & Safety, and regulatory standards
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability-based maintenance initiatives
Qualifications
Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) or equivalent certification
10 years MINIMUM of experience in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, food & beverage, medical devices, or other regulated industries preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in high-speed automated equipment
Working knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulated manufacturing practices
Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting independently and under time pressure
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems
Basic understanding of PLCs and automation (ability to identify faults and work alongside controls technicians)
Comfortable working shifts and responding to urgent maintenance needs when required
