Isolofoam Group is seeking a dedicated, independent Millwright to serve as the technical anchor for our expanding Whitby plant. Following a $4 million investment, you will be the sole on-site Industrial Mechanic responsible for a state-of-the-art, high-pressure steam-based production line. This is a critical role where you will manage everything from preventative maintenance to complex automation troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
Maintenance: Perform all preventative and corrective maintenance for a new $4M block mold system, pre-expanders, and shape molding equipment.
Steam Systems: Maintain high-pressure steam systems and pressure vessels in compliance with TSSA regulations.
Automation & Electrical: Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Omron, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and HMIs, handling a 50/50 split of mechanical and electrical tasks.
Fabrication: Use MIG, TIG, Flux, Arc, and Stick welding to repair or modify machinery and ducting.
Inventory & Optimization: Independently source local suppliers for parts and manage on-site inventory while monitoring hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC hot-wire cutting equipment.
Qualifications
License: Valid Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of high-pressure steam systems and pressure vessels.
Industry Preference: Experience in plastics, foam, chemical, or packaging industries is highly preferred.
Training Readiness: Ability to travel to Montreal for a fully paid 2-week initial training period.
