Responsibilities
Operate, repair, and maintain the packaging equipment and related materials.
Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems on plant equipment and production machines.
Perform and record all preventative maintenance functions, using both manual and computer-based systems.
Read, interpret, and understand mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
Install, set up, and calibrate various process systems and controls.
Troubleshoot and fix issues related to the plant's weighing operations, metal detectors, printers, and labeling equipment.
Qualifications
You have a Red Seal 433A certification (442a Industrial Electrician is a plus!)
Specialized training from a recognized Community College program or a completed Trade certification is preferred, especially with multiple disciplines or a dual ticket.
You have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on work experience as a
You have a strong ability to problem-solve and a keen eye for continuous improvement.
You have experience with various welding processes, including TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding.
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support to production and engineering teams.
You can read, interpret, and understand mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
You can perform complex mathematical calculations to solve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
