Key Responsibilities
Mechanical & Systems Maintenance
Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine PMs including lubrication, hydraulics, and electrical/control system checks.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex issues within hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, valving, and powered conveyance.
Fabrication: Handle the fabrication and installation of hard-piped airlines and various welded assemblies throughout the plant.
Specialized Equipment: Set up and troubleshoot electric torque runners, vision cameras, and pneumatic lifting devices.
Electrical & Robotics
Controls: Troubleshoot electrical controls and circuits (up to 575V/30A).
Robotics: Support robotic operations by troubleshooting programs, end effectors, and general mechanical issues.
PLC Support: Assist with PLC troubleshooting, including monitoring and implementing simple program changes.
Facility Wiring: Modify and relocate electrical circuits (up to 120V/15A) and support larger-scale electrical projects.
Facility & Safety
Building Upkeep: Perform general repairs to the facility (doors, drywall, painting) and minor plumbing tasks (fixtures, valves).
Compliance: Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) processes and standard safety protocols.
Proactive Reporting: Identify, correct, and report safety or environmental hazards immediately to the supervisory team
Qualifications
Certification: Certified Industrial Millwright (433A)
Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
Safety First: A deep-rooted commitment to workplace safety and procedural compliance
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively as an independent contributor and as a supportive team member.
Prior experience with MIG welding would be considered an asset
