Millwright / Mechanic

• NEW! Salary: $45.00hr + shift premium $2.75/hr 
• Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday (7am-3am). Must be available to commute for emergencies and OT opportunities.

By applying your expertise within our facility in Winnipeg, as the Millwright / Mechanic: 

• Modify, repair, or replace parts of machinery to maintain production capacity.                                                              
• Inspect, lubricate machine parts and determine future maintenance requirements                                    
• Perform changeover, setup and adjustments on production equipment          
• Participate in a safety meeting and contribute to a departmental safety action plan    
• Participate in major projects, installations, and start-ups                                                                
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine spare parts requirements                                
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all safety procedures                                                                               
• Ensure flexibility to respond to maintenance needs off-hours                                      
• Supervise outside contractors when on-site

• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing facility (corrugated, printing, packaging would be an asset)
• Inter-Provincial Red Seal Millwright preferred 
• Welding experience would be an asset
• Good understanding of safety procedures                                   
• Good analytical and attention to detail skill                      
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines
