Responsibilities
Your Mission
As a Millwright, you aren’t just "fixing things"—you are the guardian of our production efficiency. You will:
Diagnose & Conquer: Troubleshoot and overhaul complex systems including hydraulics, mechanical drives, gears, and high-performance motors.
Be the Technical Lead: Interpret intricate schematics and O&M manuals to suggest equipment improvements and optimize performance.
Project Support: Collaborate with Special Projects Groups on the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge machinery.
Coordinate Excellence: Partner with external contractors to ensure all specialized repairs meet our rigorous internal standards.
Digital Integration: Use the CMMS system to track equipment health and manage your workflow.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Floor
Certified Expertise: You hold a valid Certificate of Apprenticeship and a Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in good standing. (433A)
Proven Track Record: Ideally, you have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a heavy industrial or high-demand manufacturing environment.
Safety First Mindset: A deep-rooted understanding of OHSA standards and a commitment to keeping yourself and your teammates safe.
Versatility: Skilled in welding, pipe-fitting, and rigging (or ready to sharpen those skills).
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS software is a definite plus.
