Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of packaging equipment and conveyors.
- Detect and troubleshoot equipment irregularities and malfunctions.
- Maintain rebuilds/overhauls.
- Maintain packaging equipment for maximum efficiency.
- Assist Production Department and Mixing Plant with any required maintenance.
- Train Packaging Operators on machine set-ups and adjustments.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Continually develop skills and progress to increasingly more complex maintenance tasks.
- Perform all tasks in the safest possible manner and maintain good housekeeping practices.


Qualifications
- 433a millwright ticket or 3rd or 4th year apprentice
- 1-2 years working in a packaging environment
- Welding experience would be an asset
- Strong mechanical skills and electrical aptitude
- Knowledge and understanding of automated, robotic and pneumatic equipment
