Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: Straight Nights (training will be completed on days)
Payrate: $38-42 depending on experience and license
433a license would be an asset but not required

Responsibilities
- Installation & Assembly: Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Formally install and move machinery using hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance (PMs) on gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in industrial equipment and perform precision repairs on-site.
- Precision Alignment: Use laser alignment tools and dial indicators to ensure motors and shafts are perfectly calibrated.
- Fabrication: Use lathes, grinders, and welding equipment (MIG/TIG/Stick) to fabricate or repair machine parts.
- Safety Leadership: Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Prior mechanical experience within an industrial environment
- Millwright 433a license would be an asset
- Great problem solving skills
- Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics
- Past working experience within a GMP facility
