The ideal candidate will be a strong, full-cycle troubleshooter capable of diagnosing complex issues independently and executing standard-setting repairs. You will join a dedicated day-shift team comprising a Maintenance Lead, fellow technicians, and a tool and die maker.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, isolate, and execute repairs on complex, high-speed automated production equipment.
- Adhere to strict preventative maintenance schedules in collaboration with operations to minimize downtime and eliminate unnecessary overtime.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automated production lines (including multi-equipment linked conveyor systems) , ensuring proper functionality of sensors and input/output systems.
- Inspect plant equipment regularly , log findings, and input structured work orders into an electronic CMMS system.
- Foster a rigid Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) culture. Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine guarding programs.
- Attend shift crossover meetings to discuss ongoing machinery concerns , partner with production teams , and coordinate with external vendors when specialized support is needed.
Qualifications
- Valid 433A Millwright License
- Extensive experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments—specifically heavy steel production involving stamping presses, roll forming, extrusion, or thread cutting
-Automation & PLC Proficiency: Proven ability to read and understand Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic, specifically Allen Bradley systems.
- Must understand how sensors interact with PLCs to track and isolate faults across linked systems
**Note: Clean criminal background checks and a minimum of two professional managerial references are a condition of employment.
