We are looking for an experienced Millwright to join the maintenance team at our concrete manufacturing facility in Markham, Ontario.

The Millwright role requires a self-starter who is proficient in fabrication, MIG and ARC welding, and is comfortable working independently to ensure the reliable operation of our plant.

Responsibilities
-Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on all plant machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. This includes large-scale presses, fill mold machines, and concrete vibration equipment.
-Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly and efficiently. Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of failures.
-Fabricate custom parts and perform repairs on equipment using MIG and ARC welding techniques. This requires strong fabrication abilities to create or modify components as needed.
-Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools, and notify the supervisor when new parts need to be ordered.
Qualifications
-6+ years of hands-on experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in the concrete, masonry, or building products industry is a major asset.
-Proficiency in both MIG and ARC welding and strong fabrication abilities.
-Expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing large-scale industrial machinery, including presses, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
-Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical manuals.
