Responsibilities
• Ensuring the upkeep of site equipment
• Conducting preventive and predictive maintenance inspections as well as mechanical repairs on all equipment
• Proficiently handling emergency breakdowns
• Assisting in analyzing root causes and implementing measures to prevent future instances of downtime
• Facilitating effective communication during shift transitions, work order feedback, production meetings, and coordinating activities with fellow shift members
• Collaborating closely with operators and diverse job roles across the site to minimize downtime and address safety and quality concerns
• Demonstrating exceptional troubleshooting prowess to effectively address challenges in high-speed production lines and a rapidly automated, fast-paced environment
• Carrying out daily designated tasks
Qualifications
• MUST currently possess a 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license
• Motivated, positive attitude, with high energy and initiative
• Drive for Improvement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience within operational process or packaging equipment in the Food and Beverage industry
• Ability to use machine shop equipment
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems for submitting work requests, completing work orders, recording hours, and documenting spare parts usage.
