Responsibilities
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Accurately reading and interpreting technical one-line diagrams and customer-provided drawing packages.
Determining the optimal methods for routing, connecting, and terminating wires for a range of electrical devices, such as breakers, meters, relays, sensors, PLCs, switches, and CTs, both on wiring pans and inside switchboard structures.
Proactively identifying and flagging potential design issues found in schematics, raising them through the appropriate internal channels for resolution.
Ensuring strict adherence to industry standards by maintaining proper voltage level separation, current levels, and colour coding when organizing and wiring circuits within panels.
Executing critical functional tests, including comprehensive continuity checks and wire pull tests, to guarantee workmanship quality.
Skillfully repairing or reworking any issues or defects that are detected during the final inspection and testing stages of a project.
Consistently performing all work in compliance with CSA and UL code requirements.
Maintaining the precision and integrity of the internal KANBAN and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
Performing other related duties as assigned to contribute to the team's success.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a skilled Electrical Assembler.
Completion of a High School Diploma or a recognized equivalency.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in medium to complex, non-standard electrical wiring.
Demonstrated ability to proficiently read and interpret one-line diagrams and technical schematics.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without requiring company sponsorship, both now and for the future.
