Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise store and maintenance teams to ensure the consistent, high-quality operation of all retail and automated fueling facilities.
- Oversee all financial aspects, including meticulous cash handling, budget management, and financial forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to all legal regulations and company policies, especially regarding the sale of regulated products like alcohol and tobacco.
- Lead by example in customer service, promptly and effectively resolving escalated customer issues and complaints to maintain high satisfaction.
- Manage comprehensive inventory control processes, planning product orders and tracking competitor pricing to optimize sales and reduce costs.
- Take ownership of facility readiness, coordinating necessary maintenance or repairs and conducting basic site upkeep to support operational continuity.
- Lead a team of 3 managers and up to 40 hourly employees
Qualifications
- You possess between 5 and 8 years of relevant work experience in a management or leadership capacity, preferably within the retail or convenience store sector.
- A Bachelors degree or diploma is required, with a specialization in Management, business, or a related field. (if you have strong tenure in management in this sector of 7 years or more, the educational piece can be overlooked)
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and proven ability to successfully manage and resolve complex operational or personnel issues.
-You are proficient with the Office suite and other relevant technological tools, coupled with a solid understanding of general administration (e.g., accounting, financial analysis, resource management).
- Exhibit excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, for professional communication.
- Basic knowledge of French (spoken and written) is considered a valuable asset for this Multiservice Site Manager role.
