Shift: Straight Nights 4x10 (Monday to Thursday)
Payrate: $43-47
Advantages
Competitive Pay: $43.00 – $47.00/hr starting rate, depending on experience.
Shift Premiums: +$1.00/hr for afternoon hours (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM); +$2.00/hr for night hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
4-Day Workweek: Work 4x10 shifts with straight night coverage and flexible scheduling options (core mandatory hours on-site are 2:00 AM – 6:00 AM).
Strong Pension Plan: 5% employee contribution matched by a 6% company contribution.
Vacation & Extras: 3 weeks of vacation to start, employer-paid health/dental benefits, $1,000 annual tool allowance, $1,000 annual education assistance, and paid uniforms.
Responsibilities
Respond quickly to mechanical machine breakdowns to maximize production uptime across presses, extruders, and legacy equipment.
Execute scheduled corrective, preventative, and predictive mechanical maintenance on plant machinery.
Safely execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, including under-gate access on large presses for component inspections and seal replacements.
Perform custom welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting tasks as required.
Address plant plumbing needs, including repairing steam and water leaks.
Assist with die development and continuous improvement initiatives alongside the technical department.
Monitor parts inventory stock levels and request re-orders as needed.
Support facility emergency call-ins, assist external contractors, and follow ISO 9001 quality management procedures.
Qualifications
Valid Industrial Millwright license (433A)
Solid background in mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic lines, gearboxes, pumps, and mechanical drive assemblies.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, including comfort following strict LOTO and confined space procedures.
Capability to thrive on a dedicated night shift schedule with minimal supervision.
