At our facility in Mississauga, Ontario you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging team as the Operations Excellence Coach/Asset Owner:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and inspire a production team with a servant leadership mindset, fostering trust, growth, and accountability.
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring daily practices reflect a deep commitment to employee well-being — not just compliance.
- Conduct Health and Safety audits and develop action plans for maintaining a safe, orderly, clean work environment.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining documentation, SOPs, quality standards and safety audits with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
- Collaborate across technical and functional teams to bridge gaps between process expertise and people leadership through effective communication and information flow.
- Develop and implement learning plans that encourage curiosity, growth, and engagement while addressing performance gaps.
- Coach, train and mentor team members to enhance their manufacturing skills while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and improve equipment performance (OEE), workflow efficiency, and asset utilization in alignment with business goals through hands on leadership, clear communication, and a focus on team empowerment.
- Support production standards and audits (HACCP, SQF) utilizing experience, skills and best practices developed in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of leadership experience with a history of team development, creating a culture of engagement and people-focused strategies.
- Post-secondary education in manufacturing or related field, MS365 proficiency, SAP preferred.
- Certified JHSC member preferred with strong knowledge of safety regulations.
- Familiar with Lean principles with the ability to address production challenges, and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency.
