Responsibilities
Operational Stewardship: Direct the daily manufacturing, production, and engineering activities, ensuring strict adherence to HSE and QA/QC standards.
Financial Management: Oversee the department's financial health, including P&L, WIP reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a direct team of five, including Senior Project Managers and Coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Project Governance: Guide the change order process, negotiate cost impacts, and establish efficient construction sequencing.
Strategic Planning: Identify organizational risks and translate high-level company goals into actionable performance metrics for the operations team
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years in a Senior Operations role, specifically within the construction industry.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred; an MBA is considered a major asset.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in Finance, Procurement, and Strategic Planning, along with mastery of MS Office and data analysis.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to resolve complex conflicts and manage diverse stakeholders.

Logistics: Must be local to Edmonton and eligible for US entry to support North American projects as needed.
