Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and direct leadership across the Production, Service, Project Management, and Warehouse departments in multiple locations.
- Take final accountability for the successful execution of client projects, ensuring all are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting customer expectations.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean practices and new Standard Operating Procedures, to enhance overall productivity and reduce waste.
- Oversee critical supply chain functions, including purchasing and inventory control, to maintain a robust supply chain with timely vendor shipments.
- Collaborate with senior management on resource allocation, budgeting, and strategic planning to align department goals with broader company objectives.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe work environment and leading efforts to minimize workplace incidents.
Qualifications
- You possess a minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience within operations, industrial project delivery, or a manufacturing setting.
- Preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or another relevant field of study.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems, project management software, scheduling tools, and standard business applications (e.g., MS Office, Excel).
- A proven ability to lead and mentor diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and strong teamwork.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with a mindset focused on problem-solving and process optimization.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for engaging effectively with internal staff, vendors, and external clients in Ontario.
- Must be available to travel out west to Head Office once per month, as needed.
