Job Opportunity: Operations Officer II (Settlements)
Location: Edmonton, AB
Contract Length: 1 Year (Extension and Permanent Conversion possible)
Start Date: April 8th, 2026
Work Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8-hour rotational shifts (8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, or 10am–6pm)
Pay rate: $25.94

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Execute high-volume transactions accurately and on time, ensuring full compliance with formal and informal SLAs.
Operational Support: Support partners with incoming transactions and perform necessary adjustments within your level of authority.
Problem Resolution: Identify and escalate processing or operational issues to the appropriate partners to ensure service quality is never compromised.
Process Improvement: Actively review internal activities and provide innovative ideas to strengthen our operating model and elevate service quality.
Risk & Compliance: Maintain a solid understanding of internal and industry regulations (including AML and Business Continuity) and adhere to the Bank Code of Conduct.
Workload Management: Prioritize your daily tasks to meet productivity goals and manage confidential correspondence with the utmost discretion.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn internal proprietary systems.
Soft Skills: Strong time management, organizational skills, and a "hardworking" mindset.
Adaptability: Must be able to work independently and effectively within a team of 15.
Compliance: Basic understanding of risk compliance and the ability to exercise due diligence in all tasks.
Nice-to-Haves:
Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
