Responsibilities
Process life, critical illness, and disability insurance applications while managing high-priority inbox requests and client inquiries.
Perform complex calendar management and daily administrative scheduling tasks.
Maintain accurate customer records and prepare regular monthly operational reports.
Collaborate closely with onsite colleagues and broader virtual teams to ensure smooth back-office execution.
Adhere to operational policies, risk management guidelines, and audit compliance protocols.
Identify and suggest continuous process improvements to boost team efficiency and service standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of total administrative or operational experience, with 3+ years specifically in the Life Insurance industry (administrative or sales support capacity).
Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of life, critical illness, and disability insurance products and processing routines.
Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word).
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, strong organizational capabilities, and effective communication skills.
Education: University degree considered a strong asset.
Nice-to-Have Asset Qualifications
Level 2 Life License or LLQP (or ability to complete within 6 months of start).
Professional designations such as CFP, CLU, or ChFC.
In-depth understanding of insurance wealth management solutions and partner relationship building.
