As an Operations Officer II, you will provide critical back-office support for lending operations. The team operates under a "pooled volume" model, where all members work together to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This is a strictly back-office position—no telephone work is required—however, you will be expected to engage daily with your team via MS Teams and internal meetings. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who takes ownership of their professional development and thrives in a high-accuracy environment.

Responsibilities
Security & Mortgage Processing
Security Charging: Execute the charging of securities and mortgages accurately and in accordance with bank policies.
Loan Programming: Perform loan programming tasks to ensure systems are updated with correct lending data.
Solicitor Interaction: Prepare and issue formal letters to solicitors to engage them for new security requirements.
Documentation: Ensure all prepared documentation is accurate and properly reflects the business’s intentions regarding new security.
Operational Excellence
SLA Adherence: Manage individual and pooled workloads to ensure all productivity and quality benchmarks are met.
Data Management: Utilize internal systems to manage and update customer data with the highest level of confidentiality and precision.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in daily team meetings and contribute to process improvements within the lending lifecycle.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for effective internal collaboration.
Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
Learning Agility: A quick learner who can adapt to new systems and complex lending procedures.
Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a "pooled volume" environment where team success is prioritized.
Work Style: Ability to work independently once trained while maintaining high productivity levels.
