Responsibilities
âą Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX
âą Develop RESTful APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for backend integration
âą Optimize Oracle APEX applications for performance, accessibility, and usability
âą Support the full SDLC including requirements, testing, and deployment
âą Provide technical input on solution architecture and system improvement
âą Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both development and production
âą Implement security best practices for APEX applications
âą Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to ensure quality delivery
âą Document technical solutions, processes, and transition steps for knowledge transfer
âą Participate in Kanban/DevOps workflows for tracking and managing tasks
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 10+ years experience in Oracle development roles
âą Proven expertise in Oracle APEX (including interactive reports, charts, dynamic actions)
âą Strong experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for API development
âą Solid understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling
âą Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
âą Knowledge of security best practices for web applications
âą Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
âą Experience supporting all phases of SDLC and technical documentation
Nice to Have:
âïž Experience with Red Hat Linux environments
đ Skills in solution architecture assessments (as-is/to-be state)
đ ïž Performance tuning and optimization of Oracle APEX applications
đ Understanding of AODA compliance and accessibility standards
đ€ Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile and DevOps environments
