Responsibilities
Core Duties for the Order Entry Clerk are:
⦁Manage and oversee multiple customer accounts to ensure expectations are exceeded.
⦁Build relationships with the customer base to understand requirements.
⦁Communicate customer requirements to the production team.
⦁Provide quotes and order acknowledgements within 24 hours of request and PO.
⦁Follow up on quote status to secure orders ("drive home the order").
⦁Determine opportunities to earn additional business.
⦁Document all customer interactions and requirements using the company's CRM software.
⦁Work closely with the engineering and production team.
⦁Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
⦁Speak and write English fluently.
⦁Excellent computer skills.
⦁Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment or in a similar role.
⦁ERP experience (SAP or Visual Manufacturing preferred)
⦁Candidate Requirements: Needs to be a fast learner. Quoting experience is an asset.
⦁Candidate will need their own safety shoes; hearing and eye safety will be provided
