Location: Scarborough, ON (transit accessible)
Shift: Monday to Friday, day shift
Contract position with potential to be hired perm
Responsibilities
- Operate an Order Picker (Cherry Picker) Forklift safely and efficiently to retrieve inventory from high-density, vertical bulk storage.
- Accurately pull customer orders from shelves using an iPad and RF scanner.
- Utilize the forklift to replenish lower picking zones from bulk storage and maintain precise stock counts.
- Perform quality checks on every item to ensure it meets standards before packing.
- Securely box and label orders to prevent damage and ensure proper routing.
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Follow all health and safety protocols—including proper harness and tether usage for Order Picker operations—to maintain a secure environment.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner within a fast-paced, high-output setting.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience driving the order picker forklift.
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Experience with an RF scanner is an asset.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
