Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator/Tire Lumper to join our tire distribution facility in Acheson, Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling, movement, and storage of tires, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Job role - Order Picker Operator
Wage: $21 per/ hour + 4% vacation Pay
Shift: Sunday to Thursday 11.30am - 8pm
Location: Acheson, Not accessible via transit. Having reliable vehicle is important.
Advantages
- Wage: $21/hr + 4% vacation pay paid weekly.
- Fixed Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 4% Vacation Pay Paid out every payday.
- Optional benefits are available through Randstad from your first payday.
Responsibilities
Repetitively lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Work collaboratively and with a positive attitude to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
Perform various warehouse duties as assigned, including order picking, cleaning, and organizing.
Operate a counterbalance forklift or reach truck to safely load and unload tires.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying and processing incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months experience operating a stand-up forklift or order picker is required.
A valid forklift certification is an asset.
Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Eager to learn and open to training in new skills.
Strong awareness of safety protocols and practices.
Comfortable working at heights when required.
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid Canadian work permit).
