To succeed in this Order Picker Packer role, you will need a specific set of hard and soft skills, including:
RF Scanner Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to expertly use a handheld RF scanner for picking, inventory verification, and other warehouse functions.
Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail is crucial for reading pick sheets, matching product codes, and ensuring 100% order accuracy.
Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple orders, prioritize tasks, and work systematically to meet daily targets.

Accurately picking customer orders using either a manual pick sheet or an RF scanner to identify item locations and quantities.
Navigating warehouse aisles and storage locations to retrieve the correct products efficiently.
Verifying item numbers, product descriptions, and quantities to ensure picking accuracy before moving to the packing stage.
Selecting appropriate packing materials (boxes, envelopes, filler) to ensure items are safe and secure for transit.

Printing and applying shipping labels to packages, ensuring the correct address and shipping method are used.
Keeping an accurate record of completed orders and reporting any discrepancies or inventory shortages to a supervisor.
Assisting with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and restocking shelves, as needed.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation and contributing to the overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations within the Manufacturing & Logistics facility.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this Order Picker Packer position, you must meet the following criteria:

Proven work experience as an Order Picker Packer in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Mandatory, demonstrated experience using both manual paper pick sheets and handheld RF scanners.
Must own a pair of CSA-certified steel-toed safety shoes.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
