Initially, your primary focus will involve manual warehousing tasks. Utilizing an RF scanner, you will manage picking, packing, labeling, and inventory duties. However, because you possess a forklift license for Order Picker and Reach machines, you will have the opportunity to utilize your power equipment skills as the role progresses. This position starts as a full-time contract with a very high potential for permanent placement after a 4-6 month probationary period, including performance-based bonuses and annual reviews.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Fridays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, allowing you to enjoy an early start to your weekend.

Responsibilities
Report directly to and support the Warehouse Manager to ensure daily shipping targets are met.
Operate Order Picker and Reach forklift equipment safely and efficiently according to company standards.
Use RF scanner technology for detailed order processing, picking, and inventory tracking.
Execute precise order picking by identifying specific parcels and items required for healthcare shipments.
Verify incoming materials against manifests, ensuring all items are accounted for and undamaged.
Apply appropriate stickers, labels, and tags to material before placing them in designated storage areas.
Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trailers.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and operational efficiency in the manufacturing & logistics environment.
Participate in regular inventory counts and quality control checks.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of consistent experience in a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing & logistics environment.
Valid and current forklift license (specifically Order Picker and Reach).
Proven experience using RF scanners for order fulfillment.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending and climbing ladders.
Capability to lift 30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs when required.
Commitment to health and safety protocols and a "safety-first" mindset.
Reliability and dependability are essential; must have an excellent attendance record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
