This isn't just a temporary job; we're seeking individuals for a temporary-to-permanent role with the opportunity to build a long-term, rewarding career with our client.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our yard.
This includes:
Operating diesel, electric, or propane forklifts to move incoming and outgoing materials.
Accurately assembling and inspecting customer orders for delivery.
Checking and verifying shipments and ensuring all documentation is correct.
Supplying our production areas, such as joist and truss, with the materials they need to keep things running smoothly.
Performing regular equipment inspections and maintenance.
Contributing to a safe and organized work environment, always adhering to our safety program.
You'll need to be prepared for all weather conditions and some noise from equipment, and be comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime may occasionally be required to meet production needs.
There are three shifts available: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, and 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
Please note: clients location in Rocky View County is not on a bus route, so reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A minimum of 3 years of experience operating a forklift.
The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks like kneeling and crouching.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
A satisfactory criminal record check.
Previous forklift certification and experience with moving heavy and large loads are considered strong assets.
Qualifications
Valid external forklift license
3–5 years of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift
Strong knowledge of forklift safety and basic maintenance
Comfortable with heavy lifting and working outdoors
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
Must have own reliable mode of transportation, as location is not accessible to public transit
