Responsibilities
Market Penetration: Identify and convert new business opportunities across the roofing, general contracting, residential building, and commercial developer channels.
Relationship Management: Act as a consultative partner to specialized retail distributors and dealer channels to drive volume growth and product preference.
Field Presentations: Deliver high-impact educational seminars, technical product presentations, and hands-on installation orientation sessions to trade professionals.
Data Integrity: Maintain precise documentation of territory development pipelines, daily field visits, and touchpoints using corporate CRM software.
Physical Audits: Conduct site assessments, troubleshoot on-site challenges, and confidently navigate site environments, including climbing ladders and handling product samples up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
Sales Background: Minimum 1–3 years of B2B field sales or outside territory management experience. Applications from high-potential, consultative retail sales professionals eager to transition to industrial sales are also welcomed.
Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal skills, high self-management capability, strong telephone execution, and structured organizational abilities.
Asset Languages: Multilingual proficiency, specifically fluent verbal communication in Cantonese and/or Mandarin, is considered a major asset for this territory.
Compliance: Must possess a valid, clean driver's license and a history of safe vehicle operation. Proficiency with MS Office suites and modern CRM systems is mandatory.
Summary
This is a permanent, full-time career path offering an immersive entry into the premium industrial and building materials sales sector. The position offers a stable base salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 CAD per annum, depending on your background, alongside a target activity-driven annual bonus structure yielding up to an additional 20%.
