Painter

Advantages
-Long term employment
-Wage between $25-26/hr pending experience
-Straight day shift
-Overtime available (and preferred)
-Available on a bus route in Guelph

Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, scraping, filling holes/cracks)
Apply paint, stain, and coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, and various surfaces
Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed
Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure proper storage of materials
Assist with light building maintenance and general labour tasks as needed
Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hands-on painting experience (residential or commercial)
Knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques related to painting and prep work
Comfortable with ladders, scaffolding, and physically demanding tasks
Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
