Responsibilities
Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, code expenses, and prepare weekly or bi-weekly check runs/ACH payments.
Accounts Receivable: Prepare and send customer invoices, process incoming payments, and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Data Entry & Management: Maintain accurate financial records, update ledger accounts, and ensure proper digital filing of receipts and invoices.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify statement accuracy.
General Support: Assist the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager with month-end closing procedures, audits, and routine administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping or general accounting experience preferred.
Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience/coursework).
Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, plus intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic pivot tables).
Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, good time-management skills, and absolute discretion when handling sensitive financial data.
