Competitive hourly pay rate of $23.00 per hour
Ideal daytime shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Balanced, desk-based position within a modern specialty pharmacy with some pharmacy assistant duties possible as well to support service and delivery deadlines

Responsibilities
Patient Service Representative and Pharmacy Assistant - Temporary Assignment - Burnaby, BC - Healthcare
Manage incoming calls and provide polite, professional, and clear assistance to patients of the specialty pharmacy or their caregivers
Confirm incoming medication and supplies orders and ensure high accuracy during order entry for medical supplies and rental infusion equipment as well as prescriptions
Maintain frequent, proactive communication via email and telephone with healthcare providers and patients
Assist with pharmacy assistant duties from time to time, which may include order entry and supporting prescription-related tasks
Input and update records efficiently to help backfill for team members on leave and assist with the transition to the new ordering system
Qualifications

Requirements:
Prior work experience as a pharmacy assistant, particularly with order entry and using Kroll pharmacy software is strongly preferred - Kroll
Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical patient/caregiver service, or a call centre environment would help set you up for success
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Polite, warm, and professional phone manner
Full availability for the entire 5-week assignment without interruption, with the ability to start immediately
Legally eligible to work full-time hours in Canada
Ability to provide a minimum of one professional supervisory reference
Comfortable completing a standard criminal background check (online, we would coordinate if you were selected)
Willingness to complete complimentary online health and safety training provided by Randstad
