Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Payroll: Manage bi-weekly and semi-monthly cycles for both salaried and hourly employees.
- Compliance: Handle all statutory filings, including T4 preparation, ROEs, and provincial workers' compensation reporting.
- Internal Support: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, ensuring a high level of internal customer service.
- Reporting: Support year-end activities and maintain accurate payroll records across various entities.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Canadian payroll experience.
- Knowledge: Experience with multi-entity payroll and unionized environments is preferred.
- Education: PCP designation (completed or in-progress) is a strong asset.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with various departments and leaders.
