Responsibilities
In this Payroll Specialist position located in Mississauga, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the complete payroll cycle for employees across Canada, accurately processing both weekly and bi-weekly pay runs in adherence to all provincial and federal regulations.
- Process and execute all administrative tasks within the ADP Workforce Now (WFN) platform.
- Administer all employee benefits, including accurate calculation, deduction, and reconciliation of health, dental, vision, and retirement plans, ensuring proper integration with payroll.
- Ensure full compliance by managing and submitting all government remittances, preparing year-end reporting (T4s, RL-1s), and maintaining meticulous payroll records and documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay and basic benefits, providing courteous and timely resolution.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department on an as-needed basis, assisting with functions such as new hire onboarding and general record management.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling all sensitive employee data and payroll information.
- May require assistance with HR related tasks, such as onboarding and recruitment as needed.
Qualifications
In this Payroll Specialist position located in Mississauga, we are looking for:
- PCP or PLP designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience processing payroll for Canadian employees is required.
- Multiprovince payroll processing experience is required.
- Experience with ADP WFN is required.
- Experience with employee benefits is required.
- Ability to work on-site in Mississauga is required.
