We are currently hiring a Payroll Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector with operations across North America. This is a contract opportunity based in Richmond, BC, ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional looking to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
•Prepare, process, and reconcile bi-weekly payroll for unionized and salaried employees (400 headcount)
•Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation, collective agreements, and internal policies
•Maintain accurate employee records including new hires, terminations, leaves, and payroll changes
•Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare year-end reports including T4s and ROEs
•Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, timekeeping, and benefits
•Liaise with internal HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data accuracy and timely submissions
•Participate in audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
•2+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience in Canada
•Experience processing payroll in a unionized environment
•Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and standards
•Expeirnece with SAP Success Factors and/or ADP WFN is a strong asset
•High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines
•PCP certification (or in progress) is an asset
