Responsibilities
Pharmacist - Specialty Setting - Rare Hybrid Work Arrangement - Full-Time, Permanent - Healthcare
Perform clinical and technical prescription checks, verifying accurate dosage, clinical appropriateness, and distribution readiness.
Deliver professional patient counselling and consult directly with nurses, physicians, and clinic staff via phone and email.
Process and bill specialty prescriptions through Kroll software, managing complex third-party coverage, private insurance plans, special authorizations, and exception drug programs.
Troubleshoot high-value billing issues, coordination of benefits, and co-payment structures.
Maintain inventory levels, oversee cold-chain packaging compliance, and organize supplies to support timely order fulfillment.
Collaborate with internal operations to continuously improve clinical workflows and standard operating procedures.
Support ongoing patient follow-up calls and cross-train across key pharmacy functions to ensure smooth operational flow.
Qualifications

Active registration and license as a Pharmacist in good standing with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists (RPh designation).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with strong telephone etiquette.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items up to 50 lbs.
