Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant – Edmonton – Healthcare - 14-Month Contract
Process prescription data entry using Kroll with speed and precision
Support the filling process by organizing, labeling, and preparing orders for pharmacist verification
Collaborate with internal departments using MS Teams and Outlook
Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions with 100% accuracy
Coordinate inventory-related tasks such as receiving and organizing medications
Maintain accurate patient and order records within pharmacy systems
Work in a large, team-based setting focused on efficiency and accuracy
Perform standing/filling tasks for most of the shift; occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Qualifications

1–2 years of pharmacy experience preferred (retail or non-retail welcome)
Solid data entry skills in Kroll software
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Positive attitude, eager to learn, and open to gaining experience in a new setting
Availability to commit to the full 14-month term with potential for extension
