Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant / Coordinator - Temporary Assignment - Calgary - Healthcare
As a Pharmacy Assistant / Coordinator, your daily activities will center on communication with patients about their prescription needs and related logistics to ensure delivery is coordinated appropriately. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting a significant volume of incoming and outgoing calls utilizing the phone system - looking-up information using Kroll software
Organizing and scheduling deliveries through specialized software.
Addressing patient and client questions via telephone and email (specifically MS Outlook).
You may support the processing of reimbursement transactions directly within Kroll (any billing and adjudication experience is valued but we are open to talent who are available for a temporary assignment who have primarily used Kroll for basic entry (expiry, DIN) and have supported patient service by phone)
Maintaining clear and effective dialogue with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal colleagues using Microsoft Teams and other communication tools.

Mandatory: Recent experience using Kroll pharmacy software within a high-volume setting
Mandatory: Outstanding communication abilities (both oral and written) are required for this position as service is provided by telephone

Competence with the Microsoft Office Suite (especially using Outlook for email management).
Prior experience utilizing telephone systems, scheduling platforms, and internal messaging tools (such as MS Teams) will ensure you are well-positioned for success.
