Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant and Patient Service Coordinator - Temporary Assignment - Calgary - Healthcare
High-Volume Communication: Manage a consistent flow of incoming phone calls and emails, coordinating effectively with both patients and nursing staff.
Order Management: Accurately take medical orders and execute the fulfillment process within the pharmacy system.
Data Entry: Perform precise order entry into the dispensing system to ensure patient prescriptions are processed without delay.
Collaboration: Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain a high standard of service and accuracy during peak periods.
Qualifications

Fluency in English: Exceptional verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills are required to communicate complex medical information.
Customer Service Excellence: A proven track record in phone-based customer service roles.
Reliability: Ability to consistently commit to a 7:00 AM start time.
Technical Aptitude: Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Pharmacy Background: Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is highly preferred.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Kroll pharmacy software.
Prescription Entry: Prior experience specifically handling prescription entry and pharmacy dispensing workflows.
