Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant Non-Retail - Future opportunities
✔ Prepare medications by assisting in packaging, labeling, and organizing medications under the supervision of licensed staff.
✔ You may work with pharmacy technology in some of our client pharmacies that are higher-volume like LTC and Central Fill pharmacies
✔ Maintain inventory by receiving orders, restocking supplies, and checking for expired products.
✔ Process medication orders using pharmacy software with a focus on accuracy and timely fulfillment.
✔ Depending on the client facility, you may also support compounding activities by gathering materials and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
✔ Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare teams to ensure smooth workflow and patient-centered care.
✔ Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant work environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Assistant Non-Retail - Future opportunities
✔ Minimum 1 year of experience in any pharmacy setting
✔ Non-retail pharmacy experience (e.g., hospital, long-term care, central fill, specialty) is required; talent from high-volume retail settings where Kroll is used are very welcome to apply
✔ Pharmacy Assistant diploma or certification is an asset
✔ Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory systems
✔ High attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Strong team player with excellent organizational skills
