Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant / Patient Service Coordinator - 12 month contract - Calgary - Healthcare
As the Pharmacy Assistant / Coordinator, your day will be focused on communication, scheduling, and processing. Your key duties will include:
Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls using a phone system.
Coordinating and scheduling shipments using software.
Managing patient and client inquiries via phone and email (MS Outlook).
Processing reimbursements directly in Kroll, including managing card payments.
Handling all adjudication processes through the required systems.
Communicating clearly and effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal team members via Microsoft Teams and other tools.
Qualifications

Mandatory: Strong, recent experience with Kroll pharmacy software in a high volume pharmacy setting (intake focused role inputting 50-100+ scripts per shift independently0.
Mandatory: Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential for this role.
Proven experience with pharmacy reimbursement and adjudication processes (public and private payors).
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook for email management).
Experience using phone systems, scheduling software and internal chat (like MS Teams) is going to help set you up for success.
Must be able to work 100% on-site in Calgary.
