Responsibilities
Pharmacy Clerk / Assistant - Specialty Pharmacy Setting - Calgary, AB - Healthcare
Pack insulated coolers and restock cold storage freezers to maintain product integrity
Receive incoming pharmaceutical orders, restock inventory, and maintain organized storage areas
Organize, scan, and archive pharmacy paperwork, prescription files, and compounding documents
Process client payments and assist with accounts receivable statements
Coordinate courier shipments, assemble orders, and handle periodic local drop-offs or pick-ups
Answer and direct incoming calls, managing daily shipping and dispensing calendars
Monitor fridge temperatures consistently and perform scheduled inventory expiration checks
Maintain compliance with company procedures and Alberta College of Pharmacists standards
Qualifications
Pharmacy Clerk / Assistant - Specialty Pharmacy Setting - Calgary, AB - Healthcare
Physical stamina to manage standing for long hours, lifting stock, and handling lifting packaging (up to ~50 lbs max)
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail for handling sensitive documentation
Effective communication skills
Willingness to complete a standard background check and provide one professional reference
Previous experience in a retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy setting
