We are looking for a focused and reliable Pharmacy Assistant for a 4-week temporary assignment in Burlington. This role moves quickly - we are looking to interview and clear compliance immediately to have you settled in for a December 15 start. Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant - 4-week Temporary Assignment with Potential for Extension - Burlington - Healthcare
Accurate Medication Picking: Leverage your prior Pharmacy Assistant experience to accurately retrieve medications from shelves and refrigerators and transport them to the preparation table.
System Entry: Scan medication barcodes (Kroll system), and accurately enter expiry dates and lot numbers.
Labeling: Print and affix labels to medication packaging with precision.
Support: Assist the team with general pharmacy workflow as required.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Assistant - 4-week Temporary Assignment with Potential for Extension - Burlington - Healthcare
Experience (Must-Have): Minimum 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant.
Technical Skills: Experience with Kroll is highly preferred, but experience with other pharmacy software systems will be considered.
Availability: Must be available to work from December 15th to January 10th (excluding statutory holidays as the pharmacy is closed Dec 25 and 26 and Jan 1).
Compliance Readiness: Must be able to complete reference checks, a criminal background check, NDA sign-off, and H&S/AODA training immediately to confirm hire, if you are selected. You must be legally eligible to work full-time hours in Canada.
