We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our client's specialty pharmacy team in Moncton. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a non-traditional pharmacy setting that focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and patient support through a role that encompasses shipping coordination and prescription preparation. We are looking for someone who can start immediately – as early as Monday – and contribute to a supportive, fast-paced environment. This is exclusively a temporary opportunity with potential for extension, not a full-time, permanent role so if you are able to commit to a temporary contract, we'd love to hear from you. You must be able to work full-time hours in Canada, clear a criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and the role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted from time--to-time and work in varying temperatures (with appropriate training and PPE) as some of the medications are temperature sensitive. Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant - Moncton - Healthcare
Accurately prepare and process prescriptions
Enter prescription information into KROLL (preferred, not required or those who have worked with other pharmacy software systems)
Coordinate deliveries and shipping, including creating and printing waybills and packing prescriptions for patients
Work with couriers to ensure timely delivery of medications
Assist with prescription dispensing tasks such as drug picking and labeling ensuring accuracy prior to passing to the verification team
Maintain accuracy and speed while working in a patient-oriented environment
Follow compliance, confidentiality, and safety protocols (including use of PPE and appropriate foot protection when required)
Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant (specialty or retail pharmacy experience an asset)
KROLL software experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfort with shipping coordination and warehouse-style tasks (packing, labeling, courier communication)
Steel-toe/foot-protection required for warehouse setting
English language proficiency preferred (French not required)
Ability to start immediately
