We are ideally seeking a seasoned People and Process Manager - a current or prior Pharmacy Manager from any setting - who has led a team of 10+ professionals, in order to be set up for success.

Compensation Note: In the Sudbury market, experienced pharmacy leaders (with at least a few years' "Pharmacy Manager" experience) are typically earning a base salary in the range of $160,000 and $180,000 - depending on the setting and talent experience level. There are tenured leaders who are making more in the area, as well as staff pharmacists who have recently shifted into a leadership capacity who are proving their skills and abilities, who may be at a salary level that reflects the same ($140-160K range, and as experience is built and leadership capability proven, their base can grow to reflect their professional growth). As the Pharmacy Manager, you possess overall accountability for the day-to-day management of the site, blending clinical oversight with business strategy. Your key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business action plans to meet aggressive operational goals, vision, and strategy.
Talent Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle - recruitment, orientation, training, performance appraisals, and wage reviews in partnership with other departments and resources.
Culture Building: Foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging; delegate responsibility to create high engagement and a spirit of continuous improvement.
Financial Stewardship: Manage the site's Profit & Loss (P&L) statements; control labour, material, and equipment budgets to ensure bottom-line profitability.
Operational Excellence: Optimize workforce utilization and scheduling to maximize efficiency while ensuring service levels are met.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to prevent out-of-stocks or overstocks, minimize waste/expiry, and ensure strict control over narcotics and controlled substances.
