Responsibilities
Accurately select, pick, and retrieve items from designated warehouse storage locations using picking slips, work orders, or RF scanner technology.
• Inspect picked products for correct part numbers, stock codes, visual defects, product quality, and accurate quantities before packaging.
• Securely pack finished items into boxes, cartons, totes, or custom containers using bubble wrap, foam, and protective packing materials.
• Measure, weigh, and label packed containers with destination shipping labels, barcodes, and handling instruction tags.
• Operate manual material handling equipment, including hand trucks, manual pallet jacks, and utility carts, safely throughout the warehouse facility.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, such as bin filling, cycle counting, stock sorting, and routine inventory audits in the manufacturing & logistics department.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips during receiving operations.
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and hazard-free workstation in accordance with company 5S standards and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Identify and immediately report any order discrepancies, damaged inventory, or potential safety hazards to the floor supervisor.
• Work productively during the scheduled Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift to consistently hit daily operational targets in Brantford, ON.

Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in reading alphanumeric product codes and serial numbers.
• Familiarity with warehouse technology, including RF barcode scanners, digital scales, and inventory management software.
• Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repetitive picking, packing, bending, lifting, and standing tasks.
• Effective time management and organizational capabilities to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Solid communication and teamwork skills to collaborate productively with colleagues and management.
• Basic math proficiency for accurate product counting, quantity verification, and unit measurements.
• Problem-solving ability to recognize order irregularities and resolve minor packing issues promptly.
• Adaptability to learn new operational procedures, warehouse workflows, and equipment handling guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Previous experience as a Picker Packer, Warehouse Associate, Order Picker, or General Labourer in manufacturing & logistics is considered an asset.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, or stretch for the duration of the scheduled 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM shift.
• Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday in Brantford, ON.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety regulations and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as steel-toed boots.
• Reliable commute or personal transportation to work sites located in Brantford, ON.
• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written) for reading work instructions and safety protocols.
