Responsibilities
Performing pipe system repairs and modifications for sulfur, caustic, and chlorine systems.
Executing alterations to existing piping systems and installing new ones at treatment plants, pumping stations, and other facilities.
Accurately measuring, cutting, threading, and installing pipe systems using materials such as steel, stainless steel, cast iron, PVC, and other types of pipes and conduits.
Conducting thorough tests to ensure the successful completion of work.
Receiving and executing direct work assignments effectively.
Applying work methods and procedures that adhere to all job site requirements.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing piping systems.
Qualifications
Grade 12 plus a valid Trade Qualification certificate.
Proven ability to interpret plans and blueprints accurately.
Ability to work in enclosed and often busy (low-light) areas.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Valid Health Certificate for watershed entry and a valid B.C. Driver's License.
