Responsibilities
Hit the Mark: Maintain high-volume production with an expectation of 100" fitted per day.
Master Drawings: Seamlessly read and interpret P&IDs, spool sheets, and isometric drawings.
Precision Fit-Up: Measure, cut, bevel, align, and tack weld pipe spools and components directly on fitting tables.
Shop Operations: Safely operate overhead cranes, beveling gear, band saws, oxy-fuel equipment, and grinders.
Quality & Testing: Conduct strict pre-weld inspections, assist with hydro testing, and track material heat numbers for QA/QC.
Qualifications
Proven shop pipefitting experience specializing in table fit-ups (Journeyman status strongly preferred).
Strong tack welding and hydro testing capabilities.
Solid leadership potential (Lead Pipefitter experience is a huge bonus!).
Ability to work autonomously and consistently hit the daily 100" benchmark.
Clean Driver's Abstract, ability to pass D&A screening, and local/commutable to Fort Saskatchewan (no LOA/camp).
