Responsibilities
Set and monitor Plant production, quality, and cost goals consistent with corporate objectives.
Develop and implement improved production methods, processes, and equipment.
Administer financial and budgetary functions; prepare operating budgets and ensure compliance.
Maintain positive labour relations; address grievances fairly and support collective bargaining strategies.
Select, train, and develop Plant staff to build an effective and engaged workforce.
Oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and manufacturing activities.
Support scheduled float line rebuilds and process improvement initiatives.
Liaise with other Plants regarding manufacturing methods and best practices.
Prepare and present monthly progress reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of progressive middle/senior management experience in manufacturing.
Proven leadership, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking.
Demonstrated ability in staff development, scheduling, inventory, and process management.
Strong financial acumen, including budget and cost control.
Experience: Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier experience
Six Sigma Blackbelt certification
